This project was based on the observation of Aghabozorgi garden with the aim of preserving it as natural heritage of Shemiran. In this project we observed the relations of the space with the neighbouring city fabric , the space in direct dialog with its animals and creatures along with the activities happening outside the garden boundaries . Sensors of soil and water humidity, temperature, carbon monoxide and location make a meaningful data that can be interpreted as a documentation of this historic place. Different layers of data and graphs are combined together to create a bio mesh as living archive of this garden .
Living Archive
IaaC Global Summer School 2019 - Tehran
Life diversity makes currents of energy and matter that move along the garden. Paths of movement are detected in the garden and our data makes sense of this movement, human presence, the heat of sun light, trees that change the wind flow and moving shades that make microclimate changes in garden, some areas have plenty of sunlight on barren soil and some places have a shady cold micro climate. In some places the soil is very dry and in others we see water movements and colder soil and air. These changes are dynamic in garden and animals and trees have reactions toward them. The fabric of life, matter and energy are combined together with the space and layers of its history.
